Signposts
It is with sadness that once again this year we lost a long-standing
member of the International Right-of-Way Association, George L. Horton,
age 78, passed on October 9, 2006.
The beloved husband for 54 years of Peggy C. Horton (nee Carner);
dearest father of Carol Susan Horton, Sandra Kay (Daniel) Fowler, Steven
(Pamela) Horton and David (Samantha) Horton; dear father-in-law of
Kimberly Ware Horton; loving grandfather of Justin (Julie), Julie, Jennifer
and Janell Fowler, Jon Kelly, Krystina and Cassandra Horton and Cassandra
Russell; brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Mr. Horton was involved in the Boy Scouts of America and a former
employee of Ameren U.E. He was a member of the International Right of Way
Association and St. Lucas U.C.C. Church where he was active on the Dart
Ball Team and Ambassadors.
Our Chapter will miss our dear member and friend, James M. McKay. Jim passed from this
life on April 29, 2006.
Our prayers are with his family and close
friends. Jim was employed by Metropolitan Sewer District for 20 years and a
retired member of Teamsters Local 600.
