President's Message

Hello: I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a successful and Happy New Year. I am honored to be given this opportunity to serve as Chapter 37’s President.
2009 was a great year for our Chapter under Angela Lawson’s leadership. With the development of a two year strategic plan, Angela and the executive board were able to summarize the Chapters goals, strategies and future direction. In 2010, we will continue working towards these goals and if necessary expand and modify them.
My thanks and appreciation goes out to our past and present Board and Committee members. With your time, knowledge and dedication, the Chapter has experienced much success and growth.
We have assembled a great group of dedicated professionals for the 2010 Executive Board. Members include: Angela Lawson, International Director One Year, Matha Scott, President Elect; Clay Frankenreiter, First Vice President; Brett Farner, Second Vice President; Harvey Allen, Treasurer, and Janice Collier, Secretary. To increase our chapter’s growth and offer meaningful activities, we want and need the participation of our members. Your input is valuable and we welcome any suggestions from our membership on ways to improve the Chapter.
2010 will be an exciting and rewarding year for our Chapter. In addition to our goals mentioned above, the Chapter will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary, hosting the annual Cardinal Baseball Day, offering many educational classes and hosting the Regions Fall Forum. We have also scheduled several speakers for our quarterly meetings.
I look forward to serving as your President and as always, your suggestions and participation are always welcomed.
